Appreciating the Moose
- As a Petaluma resident and a retired peace officer, I appreciate a family-oriented place for family activities or just eating out, The Petaluma Loyal Order Of Moose (Moose Lodge) offers both.
- As a private organization, their rules deny membership to those with criminal backgrounds, something public businesses cannot do, making the Moose Lodge a safer environment for my family. There are more than 50 Moose Lodges in the Bay Area (2,000) nationwide), and I have visited many of them when traveling out of town. Each one of them has treated my family as family when we stop in. Many offer RV overnight parking with water and electricity.
- We traveled across the country last year through 17 states and found each with Moose Lodges that treated us as family members. What a great feeling to know that you can go to strange towns and have someone there to look after your family and trailer.
- The Moose in Petaluma has been serving this community since 1911. What took me so long to find and join I will never know. I am glad I did find them and will always be a member, something I encourage family security minded people to do.
